In addition to the basic electrical training (which includes hands-on lab) the Foundation arranges specialty training in pipe bending. Furthermore, Construction Safety Training (CSTS) is offered by Merit through Alberta Construction Safety Association.

The training is not designed to replace that supplied by NAIT, SAIT or Lakeland College, but to act as a primer for those institutions. The company gets students started and they continue apprenticeship training at other institutions. This privately funded institution is offering a free 5 week course (not including books).

Required Qualifications:

High School Math, Science and English or GED Equivalent
